The ZETEC-manufactured 'XY Manual Scanner NDT Sweepe' is a highly versatile manual 2D encoded scanner suitable for quickly performing ultrasonic flaw detection tests. It is ideal for inspecting longitudinal weld joints on pipes and bodies, as well as for corrosion mapping. Its easy deployment in the field and ability to scan long distances using raster scanning (back and forth) make it useful for C-Scan mapping of composite material components.
